Key Results

Thailand has the fifth-largest economy among the 21 participating economies in the region, with a real gross domestic product of 8,527.0 billion Hong Kong dollars. The economy ranks sixth in per capital real gross domestic product, which is 49% higher than the region. The overall price level in Thailand is 46% of that of Hong Kong, China, and ranks 10th highest in the region

Program Implementation

The 2021 International Comparison Program was implemented by the Division of Trade Information and Economic Indices under the Trade Policy and Strategy Office. To improve future implementation, plans include aligning the consumer price index by including some products and adopting the structured product description system.
