Key Results

With a population of about 1.41 billion, the People's Republic of China (PRC) is the most populous economy, accounting for more than a third of the region's population. The PRC also has the highest nominal and real gross domestic product among the 21 participating economies and the second-highest overall price level in the region.

Program Implementation

The International Comparison Program (ICP) is led by the National Statistical Society of China and implemented by the national ICP office set in the International Statistical Information Center under the National Bureau of Statistics of China. Participation in the 2021 cycle enhanced knowledge and statistical capability, which will significantly help other routine statistical activities.
