Bhutan

Key Results
Bhutan has the third-smallest real gross domestic product among the 21 participating economies, but due to its small population, it ranks 11th in per capita real gross domestic product at 81,049 Hong Kong dollars. Bhutan also has the lowest overall price level in the region, with overall price level at just 35% of that in Hong Kong, China.

Program Implementation
The National Statistics Bureau is the implementing agency for the International Comparison Program in Bhutan and has included its activities in its annual work plan alongside the regular publication of the price indexes. To improve data processing and quality, the team plans to incorporate data validation methods from the program into consumer price index surveys.
